What a busy summer it's been! It's almost time for school to start back up and then the rest of this year will be over before we know it. I've been able to make a few new items for the shop and have also begun selling fabric! I'm super excited about selling fabric because now I feel like I am feeding my fabric hoarding self and also supplying to other fabric hoarders. It's a win-win situation.
Please join me in my Facebook fabric group Little Robin Fabrics to help fulfill your fabric hunger! I currently have accounts with Riley Blake, Michael Miller, and Art Gallery Fabrics. I have more accounts in the making with Timeless Treasures, and Birch Fabrics. All extra fabric from orders are available for purchase in my Etsy shop.
Here's a little peasant dress I made using fabric from Riley Blake's Twice as Nice collection. It's available as a custom order in my shop until the fabric is gone (the fabric is for sale too!) The pattern for this dress is the Marissa peasant dress from Create Kids Couture. Hands down my favorite peasant dress pattern to use!
Since summer is coming to a close hat season is almost here. The crochet orders are starting to come in! Get your order in as soon as you can because there will come a time when I will have a cut off date for Christmas. Here's the Charisma hat made with a soft acrylic chunky yarn. I love how the colors appeared in this hat. No two will be alike!

Surprise!
What a week! We got hit with the "Polar Vortex" for the second time this month. Brrrrr is all I have to say about that! On another note, there are some more items added to my shop this past week. One of the items I'm particularly excited about but you really need to read to the end to see what it is. Also, I'm running a sale until the end of the day today, Friday, January 31, 2014. Use coupon code NOMORESNOW in my Etsy shop to get 25% off your purchase.
The first new item in my shop is the Donegal Newsboy Hat. I love this simple hat for boys and girls. It just looks great with a peacoat. The pattern is by Irish Hooks & Yarn. I did have to make a small alteration to the brim of the hat to make it a little stiffer. The hat runs in sizes newborn all the way to adult so they can be made for all the boys in the family. All the info and ordering can be done here. A special thanks to Fiege Photography for the cute photo.
Another addition to newborn props has made its way into my shop. The newest item is the Striped Long Tail Pom hat. It's specifically for photographers to use as a prop. It looks great on sleeping newborns and also on older babies who could use something like the pom on the end of the hat to hold onto in the photos. Sleep peacefully little babies everywhere....
All info for the Striped Long Tail Pom hat can be found here. This sweet photo was provided by the wonderfully talented Elucidating Photography.
So on to my big news. I had some delays last year that kept me from creating as much as I had hoped to. So now that I'm back full force I decided to start a "Skirt of the Month" club. There are three options currently available. 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month. All are set at different prices, with the 6 month option being the best deal. Shipping to the US is already figured in to the prices. Each month that you are signed up for you will receive a skirt made in the pattern and fabric of my choice, meaning it is a complete surprise to you. It's kind of like Christmas every month! All of the details are in the listings for the club which can be found in my Etsy shop. The choice is yours if you want to just try it out first with the 1 month listing, have a whole season of new skirts for the 3 month option, or cover half a year with the 6 month listing. I cannot wait to begin designing these skirts for your little ones!

Busy, busy, busy
Just since last week I have posted lots of new items in the shop. Some are made to order, and others are ready to ship. I'm going to keep the talking to a minimum and just give the details. Here we go...
The first item up is the Uniquely Textured Newscap. One of my favorite hats in my shop for boys because I love the thickness. I have had this hat in the shop for a long, long time, but decided to get updated photos of it. I also learned how to make a stiffer brim so it holds a better shape. Photo of this cutie is from Fiege Photography. All the details on ordering one can be found here.
The Driftwood Beanie is another wonderful hat from pattern designer Bella Rae Crochet.
It's a nice hat to wear along with a cute jacket, or for a newborn photo shoot. The hats shown here are in the colors Taupe, Lime, and Navy. I love the way they all look together. If you act fast I have all three of these ready to ship in size 0 to 3 months. If you would like more details or to order in a different size and color go here.
I managed to find time to make some ready to ship skirts just in time for Valentine's Day. These are called the Twirly Girly Skirt by Little Lizard King. There are three available and all are different sizes which means you can buy them for a couple of little girls to match. Click on the following sizes to purchase- 12-18 months, 3T, and 5.
Lastly I have photos of my Heart Mat in use. It's also a sneak peek of an outfit that will be available soon. I love this photo from Elucidating Photography. The Heart Mat is big enough for a small child or a couple of newborns to lay on. A photo of twins would be so cute on this mat! All ordering info for this mat can be found here.

New items
This week I'm giving an honest effort to be more productive. Speed cleaning while keeping my 3 month old son happy and the 3 year old son out of trouble. So far yesterday and today have been mildly successful. I had a set back on Monday because my husband and I decided to watch Breaking Bad on Netflix almost all day long. I wasn't entirely unproductive that day though. I worked on the first item I will be sending to my giveaway winner from December. I've been waiting to make this item for someone and this was the perfect opportunity. Sorry I can't spill the beans about what it is yet, but as soon as I send out the items to the lucky girl then I will show off everything that I made her. I am pretty sure she's going to LOVE the stuff that I am sending.
Yesterday I posted some new items for sale in my shop. I made these a few months back and am just now getting around to posting them for sale. Here is Gary the Giraffe Hat. I love this hat because giraffe's are pretty awesome. This hat looks cute on kids of all ages, and is a pretty cool gift idea for a baby shower. Lots of people do baby animal themes in their nursery so why not gift a baby size giraffe hat? It would be cute to stick it on top of a diaper cake. I can make it in sizes 0 to 3 months all the way up to adult. Ordering information can be found here.

I waited oh so patiently for the photos of this next set from Elucidating Photography. It was well worth the wait because I think they are beautiful! Here is the Mermaid 3 piece set. It comes in sizes 0 to 3 months all the way to toddler sizes. The crocodile scales on the tail is what I think make this set amazingly beautiful. The yarn is pretty too. I used Caribbean from Lion Brand's Tweed Stripes. All order info for the mermaid set can be found here.
Last week I posted some hats that are perfect photography props for newborn girls. Brittney, the owner of Elucidating Photography, says the Daisy Lace Hat is one of the more popular props her clients choose for their sessions. The Daisy Lace Hat can be found with more info and photos here.
